ABOUT

Who runs this.

Plain Simple Technology is a company in Cheyenne, Wyoming. We build and run a datacenter. We rent out FPGA and AI servers to engineers around the world.

We also teach kids. That started with one 4-H robotics club. It grew into eight sites in southeast Wyoming and the first MIT summer bootcamp at a Wyoming community college.

This site is where that work lives. It is not a charity. It is a company doing the work and asking others to join in.

What we believe

A kid in Chugwater should get the same shot as a kid in Boston.

The people who build things should teach the people who come next.

Say what is running, what is ready, and what is only on paper. Never blur the three.

How it works

Every kid starts with a robot at nine. At thirteen they pick a role on a team. At sixteen they pick a specialty: cyber, AI, datacenter, manufacturing. From there, a community college seat, then a university, then a startup. Then they come back and teach.

Programs

Who teaches

Founders and engineers from Wyoming companies, one session a season, from their own work. Teachers and 4-H leaders who run the rooms week to week. MIT instructors in the summer.

Pledge to teach

Who is behind it

Matt Fields, CEO of Plain Simple Technology. Leads Wyoming 4-H robotics in Laramie County. President of CyberWyoming and CTAC. Adjunct at Laramie County Community College.

Where the money goes

Donations go through HCB, a 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor. They are charitable gifts and buy exactly what the funding page says. Payments made to PST, like stipend sponsorships, are not charitable gifts. They buy what the card says.

What we will not do

  • No photos, names or data of any child on this site. Ever.
  • No bar shows money we hope to get. Only money received or committed in writing.
  • No program is called "running" unless kids are in the room this season.
